Tanya Tsypysheva (Tantsi) is an artist originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine (1999) and now based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

She works primarily in oil, sometimes combined with acrylic and oil pastels, drawn to the physical qualities of paint : its texture, layering, and the way light moves through colour. Her work is rooted in observation and memory: the places she has known, the people she has met, and the small details of everyday life that carry meaning.

Tanya has held an exhibition at Brew Society Cafe in Vevey (2025) and participated in group exhibitions at Exobus in Lausanne (2024,2025). In 2025, she won the 3d Prize at Concours Courbet in Vevey, and her work was exhibited in Montreux Art Gallery. Her upcoming solo exhibition at the Musee du Cheval in La Sarraz is scheduled for June-July 2026.

She currently teaches Art in a secondary school and organizes art workshops for adults. At the moment, she is experimenting with new mediums like oil pastels, ink and acrylics, working in larger formats, and exploring different styles. Her work is becoming more expressive and intuitive, centred on emotion, and atmosphere.​​
