Tanya Tsypysheva
Tanya Tsypysheva (Tantsi) is an artist originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine (1999) and now based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her work is rooted in realism with a deep love for the rich textures and vibrant colours of oil paint.
Tanya's paintings are about presense - the quiet landscapes, everyday moments, and the stories of the people she paints. Through portraits and nature-inspired works, she explores presence, connection and memory, and paints to slow down, observe, and feel more deeply connected to the world around her.
Tantsi has held an exhibition at Brew Society Cafe in Vevey (2025) and participated in group exhibitions at Exobus in Lausanne (2024,2025). In 2025, she won the 3d Prize at Concours Courbet in Vevey, and her work was exhibited in Montreux Art Gallery. Her upcoming solo exhibition at the Musee du Cheval in La Sarraz is scheduled for June-July 2026.
She currently teaches Art in a secondary school and organizes art workshops for adults. At the moment, she is experimenting with new mediums like oil pastels and acrylics, working in larger formats, and exploring different styles. Her work is becoming more expressive and intuitive, centred on emotion, and atmosphere.

Welcome to Tantsi's Digital Art Portfolio! I am an artist specializing in oil painting. Feel free to browse through my portfolio to see some of my latest work.
